Customer Review: Great mill for the price

I had tried a few pepper mills and they either broke or ground the pepper too coarsely. This one works great, the large top makes for easy turning. The best part is the 3-way adjustment from coarse to fine, so you can get just the grind to go with your food. My only criticism, which is true of all acrylic grinders: it shows smudges and dirt and therefore is extra work to keep clean.
Otherwise you can't go wrong with this one!
Description of William Bounds Mushroom Light Bamboo Pepper Mill
The William Bounds milling mechanism (the ?grinder?) works in a way that crushes rather than grinds the peppercorns. As a result, the mechanism will never jam or ?freeze up,? and because metal is not grinding on metal ? as with other mills ? the William Bounds mechanism will never wear out. This mill offers three pepper grind settings, coarse, medium, and fine, that are changeable with a twist of the adjustment ring.Salt & Pepper
